Two women

Once upon a time, there was two women

who had never met.

One who you do not remember,

the other one you call "mother".

Two different lives

In the achievement of only one, your life.

One was your good star,

The other your ray of sunshine.

The first one gave you life,

The second one taught you how to live.

The first one is creating inside of you the need for love,

The second one was there to fill it.

One gave you your familly roots,

The other gave you her name.

The first one transmitted her natural talent to you,

The second one proposed you a goal to achieve.

One gave birth to emotion inside of you,

The other soothed your anguishes.

One got your first smile,

The other dried your tears.

One gave you up for adoption,

That all she could do for you.

The other prayed to have a child,

And God carried out her wishes towards you.

And now while crying

you ask me this non-stop question,

Natural heritage or education,

Who am I the fruit of ?

Neither one, my child,

It is quite simply, two different forms of love.
